Picnic at Veterans Park

Today after leaving the gym, we headed to the park to play and have a picnic. The weather was once again absolutely perfect! If this weather keeps up, Henry, Grant and Grace are going to get a tour of every park in the over the mountain area! (Well, maybe not every one. There are quite a few!)

Loving this Fall Weather!!

We are loving this fall weather! Yesterday afternoon it could not have been more perfect, and we took full advantage of it at the park. I'm thinking we may go to another park today for a picnic at lunch. Days like this are too good to pass up!

Greek Food Festival 2009

We had so much fun last night at the Greek food festival! This is certainly one of our favorite fall family traditions. We saw lots of friends, ate great food, and saw some great entertainment. I just regret that this was the only pic! (I also took all three to the zoo Thursday, but not a single picture was taken. I've got to do better!)

What a Blessing :)

I just think it is the neatest thing to watch Grant & Grace's bond and friendship grow. They are precious, and they just love playing together. It is like they have a play date every waking minute of their little lives. What a blessing they are to each other...and to the rest of us!

Independent Woman!

We're on our way out the door to the gym, but I just had to take a second to commend Grace on her independence! She has been doing such a great job with giving herself a bottle. She likes being in control, and so she is so proud of herself! Henry has also been a great entertainer lately...as you can see he is entertaining Grant. Grant and Grace think Henry is the funniest, most entertaining person that has ever walked the face of this earth. It is precious to watch them light up when Henry walks in the room!

Nana & Pawpaw came down yesterday & surprised Henry with a John Deere gator!  He was thrilled & drove it at every opportunity yesterday!  He is great at driving it since he has one at Mimi & Papa's house, but he was beside himself to now have one to play with at home too!

Labor Day Weekend

We had a great Labor Day weekend, except for Poor Grant getting sick.   Grant got an ear infection this weekend.  Last weekend Grace was sick, and the weekend before Henry was sick.  We are worn out and ready for some healthy children around our house.  Above is a video of Grant on Labor Day showing off his new trick that Mimi taught him.  Despite his fever, he still had his cheerful moments, bless his heart!

 

Friday night Henry's new bedroom suite arrived.  (Well, actually the bunk beds came, but the chest is on back order for a few weeks.)  He was beside himself and loves his new big boy room. 

On Monday we got to see Lindsey.  We have missed her while she has been in Houston getting herself "highly educated!"  We can't wait for her to be through with school and back here for good! 

Seven Months!

Happy seven months, Grant & Grace!  (Henry couldn't miss out on the photo op either!)  Grant & Grace are growing up way too fast.  I wish time would stand still!  I feel like we are going to blink and they will be eating table food, drinking from sippy cups, and walking around!  They are rolling, sitting (with help), standing (with help), and learning new tricks every day.   Henry, David & I are so blessed to have Grant & Grace in our life.  We love you, Grant & Grace!
