"The fundamental mission of motherhood now is the same as it always was: to nurture, protect, and instruct children, to create a home environment that enables them to learn and grow, to help them develop a heart for God and his purposes, and to send them out into the world prepared to live both fully and meaningfully."
-Sally Clarkson from the Mission of Motherhood

Grace Lost a Tooth at School!!

Basketball

I know these pictures are blurry, but I have so loved watching our boys play on the same team at church this year!!

A Happy 40th!!!

We helped my dear friend Shanalee celebrate her 40th birthday in Watercolor. It was a great way to start 2015!!

Air Walk

Over Christmas we did all sorts of fun activities including the movies twice and airwalk twice!!

A Very Merry Christmas!

The kids had a wonderful Christmas this year.  It was simplified greatly, but that was wonderful.  Their big gift from Santa was that they each got an ipad mini.  They got a few smaller gifts, but didn't have nearly as much to open this year.  Then, with my side of the family we did $10 gifts.  It was actually really really nice to focus less on gifts and more on just enjoying Christmas and the Christmas season this year!  The kids seemed to quite content too!

Of course we made a trip up to Cullman to have Christmas with Nana & Papa and the cousins. It was wild and wonderful as always!  I know the kids will cherish these times together with their cousins for years and years to come!

Class Parties

We had so much fun doing class parties.  I am Henry's room mom, but he was too cool for pictures this year.  I am also Grant's room mom, so I am very thankful for Mimi who has been Grace's "parent" at school events since I cannot clone myself!  I alternate years with Grant and Grace, and I really think they like the year they get Mimi more than the year they get me!!!

Christmas Music!

We had so much fun watching the kids perform their Christmas music at church!  It was absolutely beautiful.  The fun themed fellowships throughout December on Sunday nights were fun too!
