"The fundamental mission of motherhood now is the same as it always was: to nurture, protect, and instruct children, to create a home environment that enables them to learn and grow, to help them develop a heart for God and his purposes, and to send them out into the world prepared to live both fully and meaningfully."
-Sally Clarkson from the Mission of Motherhood

End of Year Choir Performance

Last Wednesday night the kids each sang a few songs with their choir for the end of year choir performance.  It was precious as always!

Preschool Graduation

I can't even write this post without getting teary all over again!  My babies graduated from preschool last week!  I am so thankful for such an amazing preschool, great friends, and the greatest teachers on the planet.  It was so hard to leave, but I am so thankful for all the sweet memories we have.  Henry went to this preschool from nine months until he started kindergarten.  Grant and Grace went here from six months until they started kindergarten.  All in all, I have been coming to the preschool daily for seven years!  It is going to be a big adjustment for this mommy next year!  Time please slow down!

9 Seasons of Soccer

I cannot believe Henry is wrapping up his ninth season of soccer!  He had three games last week, and he scored a bunch of goals.  We really enjoy watching him play, and I have a feeling we'll watch about another thousand games before he graduates from high school :)

Kindergarten Kickoff

On Thursday the kids attended kindergarten kickoff. They are so excited and ready to be at "big kid school." (I on the other hand am a little heartbroken and want time to slow down!)

4k Water Day!

The kids had 4k water day last Tuesday, and they had a blast! I enjoyed being up there to watch all the fun! They sure are going to miss their sweet preschool friends next year.

Easter!!

Easter morning the kids were so excited to get up and see if the Easter Bunny had paid them a visit!  Then we headed to Cullman to go to church, have lunch, and you guessed it...hunt more eggs!!

Neighborhood Egg Hunt

Then, on Saturday night, we had a fun neighborhood egg hunt and pizza dinner.  And no, our kids weren't even the slightest bit tired of egg hunting!  I think they would hunt eggs every day of the year if there were prizes and candy involved!!

Easter Brunch & Egg Hunt

On Saturday we went with friends to an Easter Brunch and Egg Hunt.  There were 1,500 eggs, but they were gone in about 3 minutes!  There were sooo many kids!  We will definitely be back for this fun event next year!

A Rainy Good Friday

On Good Friday we had an early Easter celebration with our Birmingham family complete with an indoor egg hunt!  A good time was had by all!!
